He also has a Masters of Applied Science (Comp Sc) and his thesis involved an application of artificial intelligence to law. Michael has recently left private practice in order to concentrate on technology innovations for the legal industry.

When you upload your documents, they are encrypted in transit using a 2048-bit, highest assurance SSL Certificate. That is the highest generally available form of web encryption. The payment service provider we use to process your payment information has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

In addition to the above, the cloud service provider we use complies with the strictest security controls, including ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018. We also apply promptly all security patches and updates from our operating system providers.

Of course, we are not aware of the parties' commercial objectives in entering into a particular agreement. Nor are we aware of their personal circumstances. So it may be that things that seem wrong to us are in fact ok. Equally, since we don’t know these things we can’t guarantee that the draft agreement is in fact fit for purpose. All ContractProbe can do is to give you information about the draft agreement which you can then use to help in finalising the agreement.

The score gives you an indication of where your contract ranks against other contracts we have seen. A score of 0 is very bad from your perspective, 10 means that we did not find any problems with your draft contract (Congratulations!) and 5 is an average contract. The score is calculated using a number of factors, including the extent to which the contract includes clauses that seem undesirable to us in this type of agreement and the number of problems that we have detected.
